Fat Girl

May. 7th, 2005 04:16 pm The worst time of year

It's almost upon us... Bikini season!! I'm thinking of maybe getting a black thong bikini this year[KILLER WHALE colors], maybe PETA or the World Wildlife Federation will get people to stop throwing rocks at me [it's cruelty to animals].

This time of year makes me think of when Julifat and I first met! At the 4th of July picnic.....[dream sequence starts]

I was [at age 10] already too large for kid's sizes so mom started sewing my dresses. For July 4th she had made me "the STAR SPANGLED DRESS" it looked like I was wearing the American flag, she even sewed mirrored stars on it...the people threw rocks at me as if I was Quasimodo.

I ran off with a plate of chicken wings and a pie to hide in the woods...where I found Julifat with a foot long sandwich and jello salad, we became friends right away.

Needless to say, I'm looking forward to summer.

May. 4th, 2005 10:36 pm New Recipe!

Juilfat here .. I just got the most delicious sandwich in America!!! MMmmm .. lard .. enjoy you fat-asses!

3 Layer Lard Sandwich
Cajun Lunchtime Favorite!
8 slices thick sourdough bread
2 cups mayonaise
1 cup granulated sugr
2 large sweet onions
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
bacon grease
lard [Crisco will do]

Melt bacon grease in large skillet over medium high heat. Firmly place the bread slices down in the sizzling grease, pressing down with a flipper if needed. Allow to cook for two minutes, do not flip bread! Remove from pan and lay [cooked side down] on a sandwich or cutting board for assembling.

Slather each slice with a large amount of lard, ideally it should be at least a half inch thick. Completely cover the lard with mayonaise, sprinkle with sugar and top with thick onion slices. Top each slice with a generous portion of cheese and place under broiler until the cheese is hot and slightly browned. Don't overcook as the lard might start to run.

Allow to cool for 2 minutes, serve each person two slices, open face sandwich style. Serve with ice cold beer or strong iced tea.

Preparation Time: 20 Serves: 4
